32,000 ports does not mean 32,000 different charging locations.

Rough numbers, but based on internet statistics for population and gas stations, Canada has about 1 fuel pump for every 825 citizens (includes non-driving persons). The number of plug ports is about 1,100 people per plug. I'm betting there are more gas station locations than charging centers in Canada.
