These forums have been so incredibly positive with the new M5 that I decided to go ahead and place an order for 05-25 delivery.

I ordered individual oxford, not the shown IOMG. Same as my current G81. Also considering various other dark metallics like Petrol Mica, Macadamia or even the classic Carbon Black. Any other recommendations for dark metallics?

I also did select 951 bicolor over the pictured 952 as I felt it had too much drain cover vibe.

Thanks! Agree regarding the wheels, I believe it's some kind of low-drag eco design... I did already swap wheels to the more traditional 951M

Yeah it’s not like they give us many options to work with here, I’d probably spec these too. Enjoy!

Which interior? And why 5/25 delivery? Are you in line?

If you have a delivery date I would assume that means that you have an allocation. I guess that means it will be quite a while for US deliveries to start since US allocations haven’t even started.

Nice spec. I would also go for the same wheels. It looks modern and a bit classy.

It's just a dealer estimate, has been pretty accurate in the past except for when we had the supply chain issues after the pandemic.

Any portions of contract pertain to if dealer can’t obtain vehicle?

Order banks are open but no allocations yet. Mine is sitting at status 047.

I agree- I suspect they're specifically designed to reduce drag (see: wheels on the iX... or any Genesis sedan for that matter)
