The only thing they really share are the satin finish and the company name on their plates

Showed up at a local dealership. I'd love to post the window sticker but I didn't save it before it got removed from the site so I'm waiting on my Porsche app to update with it.

It's been raining every day so I haven't had a chance to take it out since I parked it and it's driving me crazy. lol.

Build sheet.

Got the PPF refreshed and a new ceramic coat. What an improvement.

Spotted a P1 at the detailing place.

Did I tell you that time I sat in a manual GTS cab just like that and thought $85K CDN was too expensive? Did I? Yes I know I did and and yes it still shits me because they're now $125K.

Fuck.

I almost thought a PTS coupe manual with 10k miles for like $110k a few years ago but didn’t pull the trigger. Probably worth $160k now. 997 GTS is probably my favorite overall 911 that I’ve had. Analog perfection. You even have to turn on the headlights yourself like a sucker!

Great spec! SportDesign always makes a big difference in appearance. 18-ways on the Cayenne are great. Different seats in the 911 but I am sure are equally good. Checkered RaceTex - let's see pics!

You need to see a newer one in the metal. Photos don’t really do it justice. Both beautiful cars. I’ve got both. The new one attracts too much attention compared to the older one though.

“Sportier” haha. You do realise the VH was made for 14 years and constantly updated. Different engines, suspension, steering so “sportier” is a bit sweeping. My VH albeit a coupe was a massively better, sportier, more involving drive than the 992 Carrera I spent hours with.

Probably will keep it a while, might be favorite 911 overall so far. I had to replace the stone guards and the shop said they’d do full front PPF all the way up the hood, wrap the edges, and do the side skirts for only $1100 more if they could take a few pics to post on social media. Couldn’t pass up that price. They did a solid job.

As much as I loved the 458 I got to drive it for 6-7 months, put 2k miles on it, and made like $7k or something after all expenses. The 997 GTS and Ghost combined were almost the same price as the 458 and I’ll get more miles on both of those. Window tint, lowering links, and maybe some new wheels for the Ghost next. There will be another 458 one day.

I’ve also managed to keep my Panamera Turbo S for about 16 months now, such a good daily. Thought about selling it but there isn’t much I’m keen to replace it with in a similar price range.

Definitely keen to get a bit of seat time in a newer Vantage. Obviously a very different experience to my 08, but that’s ok

Dropped off my V8V for a service and to check the roof hydraulics (currently a permanent vert!) and there was a rather gorgeous purple 2025 model at the entrance.

Did have me wandering around looking at a few gently pre owned ones as a potential daily as my wife’s keen on taking over my M3T…

This car just gives me a permanent grin whether driving or just looking at it. That’s when you know. Now celebrating 3 years of ownership and I still love it as much as the day I got it.

Bonus pic of an 80s Maserati parked diagonally opposite. Kind of cool.
