Wheels and tires
In neighbouring topic, I asked about the parameters of the wheels, but I did not receive an answer, apparently no one knows yet, so I share the information I have found at the moment. BMW changed the location of the bolts, now it is 5* 130, before it was 5* 112. There were 5 * 112 left on the BMW I5, but on the M5, apparently, due to the weight, changes had to be made.
If anyone has new data, please share it. Since I can't find out if the center hole has changed or it remains the same - 66.6mm. Last edited by Sueta; 08-15-2024 at 07:32 PM.. |

I think going to 22” wheels will be a challenge from a tire standpoint. The front 20” tires have a load index of 111. That translates to 2,403 pounds of max load. The closest OD that I can fine to the stock tires would be a 295/30/22. The highest load rating I can find for this tire is a 107, which is about 250 pounds less load carrying capacity per tire.
