Catback exhaust vs OPF / CEL

Hey!
New to this platform and BMW V8s in general, my previous BMW was pre OPF. Does it require a tune to remove OPF? Or we can attempt doing catback without loosing warranty?

If cat-back is OPF-back, it would be fine. You want to keep the OPF in, or risk getting volume/flow CELs (or questions from the dealer if anything warranty-related happens and you fail to have the opfs where they should be)

Thanks! I had a quick chat with one guy from Austria who claimed to be driving a proof of concept of Remus cat-back exhaust without CELs, which got me thinking there could be a different sensor situation on G90, than e.g. other cars, where it usually throws CEL otherwise.
