First issue and first problem of the big weight
Hello everyone,I got my M5 six months ago and have already driven about 12,000 km. And now, the first serious issue has happened.Let me start from the beginning.
I’ve been using the car as intended all this time — oil changes and inspections every 5,000 km. About a week ago, after drifting through yet another corner, I started to feel and hear strange vibrations and a humming noise.I assumed it was just another set of rear tires worn out, causing the vibrations. Then, a couple of days ago, after a launch control start, I felt a strong hit through the transmission and very intense vibrations right after the impact. There were no cel lights, and the car drove normally under light throttle. But as soon as I gave it more throttle, knocking and vibrations would start.I came home and called the dealer to schedule a service appointment. And today, I got the verdict: the driveshaft, transmission tail housing, carrier bearings, rear differential, and front differential all need to be replaced.According to the dealer, this is the first time they’ve seen something like this — but also, none of their cars have reached 12,000 km yet. It seems that the car’s weight played a role, and such loads are simply fatal for it. I’ve attached videos and photos. Thanks for your attention. https://youtube.com/shorts/zZBjCxJWs...KK_ZP2lDtUhLXL |

you should get that passenger seat "leather depression" addressed when you take your car in. The drive shaft issue may be from when you drifted the car in 2wd mode.
