Drift happens. We let the Red Bull Drift Brothers loose inside BMW Welt for a little bit of sideways fun. Watch the BMW M5 Sedan equipped with BMW M Performance Parts performing in an empty BMW Welt.

Cool so The Welt is some BMW indoor test track?? In Bavaria? Surprised to see footage from inside such a Top Secret, eyes only, venue. Very cool.

THIS is how drifting should be done: in an empty area without endangering anyone. Nicely done!

That seems to be a drift around one corner that they shot over and over from multiple angles... I guess I came into it expecting Ken Block and instead got whatever that was

The Welt is BMW’s kind of pseudo showroom/half museum, gift shop or boutique, etc. The actual museum is across the road for €10 entry (when I went in march 2022 at least). Also the headquarters building is in that area as well (4 cylinder building). Factory tours as well, etc. Euro deliveries as well when they did it. Pretty cool place. They just happened to make a video of the G90 drifting lol.

Not sure if your tongue is firmly planted in cheek or not with that....but in case not, no....The Welt is the "showroom area" in Munich where deliveries are held (and European Deliveries when offered in the US), but it also refers to the general area of BMW that comprises not just the showroom, but the Munich plant, and museum as well.

All those of us that have/had deliveries there get to "do a lap" around that indoor "track", but lol....no drifting.

If you want an idea of what the Welt looks like more, there are plenty of threads in here that give you a much better idea. (you can even look at the thread mentioned in my sig, as I have multiple pics when I did my ED)

I’m a little confused here. Is a 5400 lb, 200” thing a drifit car ? Why it’s advertised for drift? And why it’s posted on front page? Looks like all hands are in to help selling this car LOL

now seems obvious that the world is going to get normal again all this EV regulations and green BS is going to go away everyone can buy and drive what they want...am calling it companies are going to be making very nice sports cars soon no hybrid
