Emergency Call System Failure

Got this today on my G99 Touring warning come up on the dash. Emergency call system failure. My personal esim doesnt look like its working either and the car status is now showing correctly on the MyBMW app. The app is showing that the car bonnet/hood is open and alarm is deactivated.

hoping leaving it overnight the problem goes away, else its a call to the dealers.

anyone had this before?

yea but on my F90, it was the aux battery for the Emergency call system needed replacement, located in the trunk. Normally this happens when the car is approx 5 years old.
