He got percocet in addition to his motrin. That contains oxycodone -- a fairly strong narcotic. Its stronger than vicodin which contains hydrocodone -- a weaker narcotic. Use the percocet if you're in pain.

Quick question for any doctors that are out there, the small "steri-strips" have come off just 4 days after the surgery. Should I cover it back up or just keep it clean?

First, a little disclaimer that I am--obviously--not your doctor and the following should not be taken as professional advice. Only your doctor can advise you on wound care.

Now, having got the legal-ese out of the way: generally, steri-strips remain on for 7 days but can fall off earlier as in your situation. Generally, keeping the wound clean and avoiding rubbing/scrubbing the wound which could potentially distract the wound edges is all that is needed. You do not need to reapply the steri-strips.
