Paying off a Balloon amount ahead of its due date...

Hi all,
Does anyone know how a Balloon amount can be paid off before it's due date and how is it calculated?
Are there penalties ?
Can we settle at any point or MUST we wait until its due date?

Look at the mouse print on your contract. It will tell you all you need to know.

If this is a proposed deal, then ask for the contract.
