If u travel, it's with it IMO, if not there are better options
My only point about Amex concierge's ability to get you "sold out" tickets being over-exaggerated is this" It's not as though concerts sequester off a portion of the available seats for Centurion or Amex Platinum card members.

If a concert is sold out and you ask the Amex concierge for help, what you'll get is a guy (or girl) who literally goes onto the internet and searches craigslist or other secondary markets to see if anyone is selling tickets privately. That's it. It's nothing that a reasonably competent individual couldn't do.

The concierge is nothing more than a personal assistant. They don't have any more leverage or "pull" than the average person when it comes to obtaining sold out concert tickets.

Actually that is incorrect. For popular front-of-the-line shows they typically have an allotment for their Centurion members. Typically this is either from the venue or from the promoter. Most of my up-front tickets come this source. There hasn't been a show I haven't been able to get tickets (at face value) for. Really depends on the concierge is willing to go (i.e. call the venue/promoter, etc). For non-front of the line, its been hit and miss once the show is "sold out"

That one was a bit of a slap in the face.

Oh I missed that part. I read the notice and giggled because it expires 3/22 and I'm flying 3/21. Going to be a great layover in Miami!
