Domenicali out at Ferrari

"Resigned" my ass. He was fired. Lucky for him Montezemolo isn't king or he'd have been beheaded.

Not surprised, year after year of disappointment.
With a team that has the longest history and most demanding fans.

I read he walked....which is why the new guy is just a stop gap.
Shame I always liked him, he seemed like a straight up guy...maybe that was his problem.
Ross Brawn on the horizon?

Now that's a good idea. I'd love to see Brawn back at Ferrari.

Many fans/f1 followers blamed him for Ferrari's downfall in recent years. Let's see how Ferrari comes out after this.

Just like Massa he seems like a nice guy and in that way it's sad to see him go but just like Massa it shows that something was very wrong in Ferrari when failure was accepted year after year after year. Yes Ferrari has been close a few times the last years to claim the title but it's been all Alonso and no car.

Always thought he was a no excuses type of guy. He's always saying (paraphrasing):

"We're just not good enough right now but we think we know why and we're going to work as hard as possible to challenge for wins"

Last DWC championship was 2007, last CWC was 2008; 7-8 years of trying to figure it out and they seem to be going backwards. A shake up is probably a good thing at this point.
