Lately it's been anywhere from 3 to 5 hours during the week. Weekend usually about 6 to 8.

Got up an hour late at 5am for work today. Had sex. Made me half hour late for work.

I was thinking more on the line that this was a sequel to the mattress thread.

ive been getting 5hrs or so on average for about 10yrs now. If i get more, i feel too groggy and if i get less, i feel terrible. Think my body has adapted to it.

Also, I now get deep, deep sleep. Before I started with the 5hrs due to work and school, I was a 7-8hr/night person, but would wake up with every little noise. Now, it takes a lot to wake me up. Wife hates it though since I never hear the dog barking to go out in the middle of the night.

7-8 hours on weekdays, 9-10 on weekends.
Things will most definitely change once my wife and I have children (which is going to be fairly soon).

i STRUGGLE with my 7 hours. My goal is to be in bed ASLEEP by 10. Have been geting p at oh-530 for so long, even on weekends I wake at that hour. Check blood, eat, and back to napping by 830 or 9.
I have never done well without 7-8 sleep on regular basis, but if I get woken several times, 10 won't be enough. That is one of my pet peeves, that people in my household have No RESPECT for sleeping dogs.

4-5 hours on weekdays, 8-9 on weekends. Even my dogs know not to wake me up Sat/Sun mornings.

Just 2 short weeks ago? I was with roommates from hell, in a house illegally modified to suit more people. You hear everything, and you can smell everything, especially cheap Chinese cigarettes (which was especially fun when I had the flu and would choke for half an hour )... I had an old and lumpy mattress, so I was lucky to get 5 hours and wake up twice a night, then maybe I'd get an empty house every once in a while and get to take a nap when everybody left; I even got fired from a job since I couldn't keep my eyes open...

Then when I got a chance to move, I knocked out for 16 hours straight the first night since I was apparently missing a LOT of sleep (the move wasn't even exhausting; just my suitcase and toiletries), and now I manage 6.5-7 hours sleeping through the night on a comfy queen-size bed and a sensible roommate... But I still want to either un-fuck my credit from 2 jobs that screwed me over last year and get an apartment, or even eventually move in with milady and use her credit
