EXACTLY MR. TONKA

GO FLATS as opposed to RUN FLATS
(well thats what I hear the ordinary tires are called)

I feel like no one was able to decrypt the OP but that makes me skeptical of my alternate interpretation.

OP, if you are switching from run flats to standard tires, you should purchase a plug kit and keep it in the trunk. That or a can of Fix-a-flat is about all you can do outside of buying a wheel from a salvage yard, mounting a tire on and keeping it in your trunk.

And no, a screw will not do the trick. Maybe with a tiny puncture, in a pinch, with no other alternative. ....Get a plug kit to keep you on the road and then take the tire to get a proper patch applied to the inside.

SO had my summers put on, Cinturato P7 (Pirelli's) staggered. (about $800)
and oil change

My drive home and since is just unbelievable, pot holes ,train tracks, uneven roads.
no bumping and jarring my teeth, no tram-lining, also the car seems to pull better.

so a couple of questions.

1> (as to my excessive tire wear) from the looks of it; I had about 13k on the winters.
2> Had the bushes checked all good, but couldn't check the toe (guy didn't have 4 wheel alignment)
3> This is apparently a common issue, shouldn't I get more than 13k, I understand RFT's are bad for wear

4> repairs/flats, so I do have CAA cover; so I have 3 options.
* tire plug kit
* slime kit
* collapsible tire

BTW
the car has done 44K or so odd; bought it on 24k 2nd owner
all 4 tires had been changed out from new at least once (my tire guy was able to prove)#

The tires I had with the car changed to winters at about 35ish (the rears where wrecked)

And so where the winters; so it's like had 3 tire changes really in 44k

I hope this isnt normal; otherwise I'll be dumping the BMW and getting something else

My run flat is going On 300 Miles without any air. Won't it eventually go flat?
