Umm...this is really effin strange...me and my friends were wondering where an abandoned airstrip would be in Florida. Reason being because we just got back from a flight to Ft Meyers (my friend drove us in a Sessna, bout 2 hrs total flight there and back). I got the idea cuz when we landed and I saw the airfield all I could think of was "I have to get my car out here". It's just a vast plain of perfectly smooth tarmac.

This news couldn't have arrived at a more awkward time...

I read somewhere that the airstrip is actually John Travolta's. It was right by his house, and he uses that airstrip for his private planes. I'm sure the families of the victim are going to run right out to a lawyer once they find that out. Our legal system is a joke!
