I dropped the locking mechanism in the door and I've tried for days trying to get the Mortise out but I've had no luck. I bought small powerful magnets from Home Depot, but the mortise is coming up but the magnets aren't able to grab it and pull it out due to weight. Without having to call someone and being charged $400 just to get a new one installed. Can you guys suggest anything to help me out please?

If there's someone there to help, lift it off the track, pop off the sealing cap, and it should come out with ease using gravity.
