Clear Bra on the headlights?

Hi all, should my body shop put clear bra (Xpel) on my M5 headlights? I am doing the front of the car. Many thanks.

yes, you should consider doing entire front end of the car. plus other parts like rockers, lower doors, roof, etc.. someone people do entire car as well.. just depends how much you want to spend.

If you want complete paint protection PPF is the way to go..

Garage List
I would consider doing the entire car. The reason is that the unprotected surfaces will fade differently than the protected ones.
My son-in-law only did the front surfaces of his car a few years ago and you can clearly see the difference where the car was protected and where it wasn’t. It didn’t look pretty.

I think it was worth the investment to wrap the entire car.

Yes, headlights can be incredibly expensive to replace and covering them with xpel to avoid rocks is a no brainer for peace of mind

for those obsessed with LED / HID and now laser lighting such as myself; its important to note that adding xpel or any other PPF to headlights will slightly reduce the crispness of the headlight cut-off but nothing that should impair overall light output.. with that said i put xpel on mine as the benefit of not having chipped headlights far outweighs having a more crisp cut-off ;-)

I laminated my headlights with Xpel as well. Great peace-of-mind as the replacement costs for these lights are significant and they will experience abuse in a DD. With PPF on the lens, there is a slight reflection giving a faint ghost image of the LED on the front of the lens from certain view points but in no way unsightly.
