Hood Scrape and Dent- Advice Needed
Can anyone provide advice on how to repair this scrape and dent? It appears that it came from some kind of road debris. Seems like it might be tough to touch up and of course I would like to remove the dent as well.
Any suggestions are appreciated. |

Looks like you will need to go to a professional for the dents.

PDR, then respray the entire hood. The shop will sand and primer about a 6" diameter into the middle of the hood, then paint all that plus another 6" out from the primer, then clear the whole thing. Wont even be able to tell, and the color mismatch will be 1%, hardly noticeable (the effect of having more clear than the adjacent panel).
Touch up will always stick out like a sore thumb |
