Best way to remove tree sap

What’s the best, safest way to remove tree sap? It’s not awful and you need an eagle eye to spot it...But it turns out I have an eagle eye and I can see it!

So based on experience what’s the best stuff out there? Safest stuff too?

Thanks in advance!

I recently followed the steps in this video and was very happy with the results:

And no, I don't work for nor represent Chemical Guys in any way!

I have a big pine tree next to my driveway. THe best way I’ve found to remove the sap is to not park in my driveway . I’m going to try and get some of that chemical brothers stuff though... thanks for the tip!

One quick tip - do NOT wait very long to remove it! We have a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (weekend toy) and some sap dripped on it a few weeks ago. I forgot about it until this past weekend when I was doing a quick water-less wash. I attempted to remove it using the same technique described in the video and it was useless. Having it bake in the sun and heat really changed the ease of removal.

I use 70% rubbing alcohol and a microfiber towel to remove large spots of sap. Works great. Just rub very gingerly, it may take a while depending how long it's been there but it will come off. You'll want to re-protect the area afterwards because the alcohol will strip wax, sealant, and some coatings.
