They'd build more than that if more people would buy them, so it's production imo. McLaren isn't a race car company either then I guess?

I knew McLaren would immediately pop up. What I am saying is that to be a true car company, you have to build everything from the ground up.

The engine they buy from Mercedes is tuned my AMG specifically for them (I'm fairly sure) and is I think the 6 liter twin turbo from the 65 AMG cars minus the turbos and enlarged to 7.3 liters, it's a completely different engine altogether and suits the Zonda perfectly so I don't see what the problem is with them buying it rather than starting from scratch and trying to build their own engine.

You have to remember that Pagani started as a division of Lamborghini that manufactured carbon fiber parts and eventually split and became their own independent carbon fiber manufacturer (which still supplies Lamborghini) and decided to build its own car on the side, it just so happens to be one of the most perfect and amazing cars ever produced (if you ask me).

Yeah, I heard you can't video tape footage on track. Do they really even check at all or what?

That video is awesome. I actually find it even more amazing seeing that the driver had an actual stick shift, not paddles.
