The Last Coat
I see alot of products that can be bought online to protect vehicle finish.
I have a hard time deciding which one to get. Stumbled upon this and was curious if anyone has experience with it. www.thelastcoat.com Seems just like any other DIY ceramic coating. Is there that much of a difference between these and what a detailer can do? I will be leasing my first BMW X5 X40i M Sport and just want to keep it looking nice for the 3 years I have it. I dont mind taking it to a detailer once or twice a year if it will really make that much of a difference. But what is the cost vs buying this type of product? |

Following. I too will be leasing a new X5. Not interested in spending $2k on a protective finish for a car I’ll be turning in in 3 years. Also, the at home ceramic coating kits are far too much work for my tastes.

I use this stuff religiously.
Put it on my car last feb (2020) and boy was it a good idea. Live in an apartment so unable to wash it myself, car washes being closed during lockdown meant very few washes. And when I did clean it, dirt just comes off effortlessly. Had a mobile detailer come round and he asked what was on it as it beaded so well

Every couple of months use this on my vehicles. www.pinnaclewax.com/best-car-paint-sealant.html
Once a month use this and yes could do it less frequently but the protection and looks are both important. www.pinnaclewax.com/black-label-synergy.html
