I'd steer clear of using a car cover if possible. Any little bit of dust gets under there and you'll just be creating micro scratches and swirl marks during removal or if the wind starts to move it a bit.

The only time you should cover a car is if it's indoors and the car and cover are both extremely clean otherwise you are doing more harm than anything.
