Trying to decide on ceramic coating.

Has anyone come across System X Diamond ? One of the nearby car detailing shop is offering it with lifetime warranty. Any comments ?

Go with trusted brands. Detailing industry is getting super saturated. Do your homework and educate yourself a little. Here's a few to get you started:

I'm not sure if you're asking what you should purchase, yourself, or what coating you should get installed, by a detailer?

You live in Chicagoland, take your car to Chicago Auto Pros. They install Modesta, and a few others. Pro only coatings.

If you're looking for a coating to install, yourself, go with one of the brands that Nettles suggested.

Thanks all. Clearly, I didn’t do much research.

Anyways, I went ahead with my local detailer and applied System X Diamond ceramic coating. My detailer seems to be a honest guy and online reviews of the product seems to be ok with certifications from various manufacturers. Also, registered at the manufacturer’s site for lifetime warranty.

So far, looks good to me. It is glossy and smooth. But, I have very limited knowledge in this topic. So, we will see what happens….
