just sharing some good news -

my telephone call with my diabetic specialist looked over my bloodwork
and was happy with my results and progress, my Hba1c ( 7.1%) she was happy
and was also ok with my weight gain (73kg's)
only wants to see me next year and for me to see a nurse in 6 months
my stats today
O2 98%
Heart Rate 75BPM
fasting blood sugar 7.1
BP 97/59 (a little on the low side)

I still am a bit fatigued. my RBC count is a Weee and I mean a weee bit low, so doc said, "meh, could take some Iron" LOL

started yesterdat on over the counter at 28mg daily

really wanna be eating more (oily) fish, for my heart and iron content,
but just wanted to share, especially with the doom and gloom we all seem to be getting

So are you actually diabetic? Insulin-dependent?

I was just telling vreihen16 that I've been a week on my Libre2 CGM, and actually quite happy with it. The alarms are set for low at 85, keeps me from stumbling into the kitchen at 55!

Last A1c was about 7.8. 190lbs, but I was hovering around 205 for a while. That loss is probably almost all muscle since I just got back to gym after 2 years Wednesday night.
