PPF necessary for M-sport aero package?
I'm trying to decide if we should spend the extra $800 for PPF on, among other places (A pillars, roof in front of the sunroof, all lower body panels) the aero package rocker sills. You know, the ones you drag your leg on every time you get in and out.
Do those get scratched up from everyday use, either from rocks or just ingress/egress? If they do, I'd be tempted to go ahead and spring for the protection. We are already at $3600 for full front PPF and complete ceramic coating, though, so I don't want to spend more if it isn't necessary. What say you who've had these things awhile? Mark

nZtiZia and LM50i, how is the PPF holding up on the place where your leg touches getting in and out?
You guys have some great looking cars! Mark

no issues with film lift. BMW paint is considered 'soft', and that area is prone to rock chips but being as low as it is, nobody may notice. |
