PPF on carbon front intakes?
Hello.
I have ordered the carbon exterior package and would like to know how carbon parts on the front of the car wear. Do they get a lot of dings from rocks and other debris? Are occasional chips to be expected and is that a big deal for a CF part? Note that I am NOT asking about rash on low splitters. Should I PPF the front CF air intakes, or is that not necessary? Thanks. |

My place did it as a part of doing PPF on the front bumper. I would recommend it as it's just as prone to rock chips as any other spot in the front bumper.

I did the PPF as well …. Those pieces will get ruined quickly from the highway.

Those carbon bits definitely need doing. Should be done as part of the front end package as noted in a earlier post.
