And the regs to allow it all are now signed off.

As it stands this isn’t Porsche doing anything but adding funds, the engine will be developed by RedBull power trains and badged Porsche. This is much the same way that Ilmor Engineering that makes the Merc units is now owned and badged as Merc.

Interesting and positive times for the sport, I hope we also get a new entrant and a couple of extra cars added on the grid for 26 as well.

You can do both, Haas isn't going to be threatening RB anytime soon.

Why do you say that? He got drunk and showed his ass after his first win. But that is the only bad thing I've heard about him :

I think Checko is a decent enough guy. He’s humble enough without allowing anyone to walk on him.

I’m team RB so perhaps that’s what why I like him. If Max can’t win for whatever reason I’m for Checko.

So do we know what Porsche's real involvement will be? Right now it looks like Audi is more of a team than just a name on a car.

We all thought Audi/Porsche will be bringing their own engines, but recent reports is indicating that only Audi will have their own and Red Bull Powertrains will continue their program so how does Porsche really fit into this? It would be a real shame if Porsche is taking a "back seat" to Red Bull Powertrains. I'm sure they'll have some input it's not going to be a Porsche engine unless all the reports are wrong.

Given all of the information available right now;

Alfa Romeo (Sauber) becomes Audi. They're buying out majority stake in Sauber so it will primarily be a full Audi operation.

Red Bull becomes Red Bull Porsche. RBPT has probably been built knowing that a permanent engine manufacturer is moving in - and they've probably been talking to Porsche for much longer than we think. Porsche has exactly %50 stake in RBR so they are completely equal partners - they won't be taking a back seat to anyone.

So its all announced on the Audi side but what isn't is the news of the team they are going to buy, they are still in discussions with 'teams' and will announced that before the end of the year, Mmmm.

What I am hearing is that drivers of the 2026 Audi F1 car are already reporting that the new car has terminal understeer, brittle ride and numb steering.

In three and a half years is like waiting for ever as the wrinkles grow more lol
Why is there so much opposition to Andretti F1 car, I see Ferrari are welcoming him to join in and guessing a Ferrari PU tie up with them, I personally would like to see him in after all Michael did take part in F1.
