Bmw G20 M-Sport Conversion
I just wanted to ask if my warranty at BMW would be voided if I were to convert my base exterior 330i to the M-Sport rear and front bumper. So far I have not found a answer.

The general consensus is that all mods void warranty and you do them at your own risk. I would say If you want to do it then go for it but use good quality parts.

As already explained , losing warranty coverage is only when it’s related to the specific modification. However, the newer cars have systems that are very integrated. You just need to ensure top you get all the required parts, and don’t crimp or break any wiring looms.
For example, I hit a small animal that took out a fog light housing, so I just unplugged it until I could get a new one. This caused a constant error to show on the dash display because the car has a system to check the fog lights. I also had neighbor back out and put a small dent in my front fender near the marker light. For some reason this caused a fault that knocked out the angel eye lighting around the nearby headlight. Absolutely no damage to the headlight or marker, but the undamaged angel eye did not come on. I don’t know exactly what they fixed when they repaired the fender and got the light working again. |
