I’m just doing the front bumper so when I scrub love bugs off it can do it quicker with no damage. Bumper or whole car imo $400 vs 6k.

I rather gamble on a 6k hit on trade. Maybe the car gets hit and carfax kills the value. Ppf wont save that.

I have my whole car PPF'd but did it because it's a frozen color. Otherwise I would have likely done just the full front of the car. It's the area that takes the most damaging rock hits at speed. I already got a rock that skipped across my hood. Quite glad I had it PPF'd. Get a few quotes from places and compare. Another 2k for ceramic sounds quite high to me though. Maybe around 1k (or a bit less or more) to do the full car + wheel faces&barrels + brake calipers. Even with CCBs I wanted my wheels coated. Just makes washing them so easy.

Talk you out of it.... ok. The visual end product, if your looking for a "perfect show car finish" is only as good as the paint prep and will not be as sparkling perfect with it on.

You will want to get as good of an installer as you can find, and afford. They make the end result... A 60% great installer will give you a product that you hate. Wait a little longer and invest in a great installer.. the end product will be worth the wait, and the protection that is afforded is worth it.

Talking you out of it. Cost, time and getting a great installer. If the installer say he do a G80 in 5 -6 hours i'd go somewhere else. It's a painful job, and the front facia, if the uses computer cut patern, has 9 - 11 pieces stiched together. If he is doing one piece, much more time, especially if he does paint prep andtouches up any rock chips.
