Interesting things that happened on the road today?

Did you run over debris? See a crackhead low crawling in the middle of the road?

Post your daily occurrences on the road here!

Wifey and I were waiting at a red light in Champaign when some putz in a Dodge Challenger came buzzing up the right turn only lane to our right and blew straight through the red light. Rules are for other people, I guess.

No pics but last night saw a Ducati Monster (I think) that had evidently been hit. My side of the road was down to one lane by the crash site, and the other side was completely closed off by police. No ambulance in sight, no rider in sight, no wrecked cars in sight. Just a red Ducati on its side in the middle of the road at a small intersection, with three of the four lanes blocked off by yellow caution tape. Very weird feeling when you see something like that, especially when you're also on two wheels.

Need to get a dashcam to capture all the madness on the roads here in Charlotte. Couple weeks ago while driving home from the gym, had to stop for a red light at the edge of downtown. I'm in the right lane, some other car is in the left lane, it's about 8:30pm. Out of nowhere a fuckin horse trots past from behind, filtering between my car and the guy next to me. Horse is black, rider of the horse is dressed in all black, it's obviously dark out and the intersection is not well lit, paint is badly faded as well. My light is still red but the horse just trots through the intersection, and miraculously no cars happened to be driving through at that moment. A few moments after it cleared the intersection the horse starts galloping further down the road, and my light finally turns green. Guy next to me puts his foot to the floor like most Charlotte drivers seem to, and then about a hundred feet later slams on his brakes at the last possible moment to avoid mowing down the horse. No idea what a horse was doing in that part of the city, it was heading out of the downtown area which is literally just buildings and parking lots, and going towards an industrial area. Definitely seen some weird shit on that road before (Accord driving backwards, G wagon driver jump out of his car and almost run himself over, someone crash into a house, Mercedes 6x6 out for a cruise apparently) but that was the strangest thing I've seen in a while.

Lately I've been watching the utube. " driving fails, construction fails, boating fails etc, etc - there's hundreds of these. it truly is amazing how many idiots there are out there in all walks of life.
One thing for sure, it certainly reminds you to always look out for the other guy and have the HP to get out there fast!

Good way to brush up on driving skills too. !!.

Dash cam sounds like a great idea, but how do you set it to activate when crazy stuff happens???

If not interesting, then unusual: I drove the speed limit today. In fact, I set the cruise control exactly at the speed limit.

Speeding tickets in Europe are expensive.

Saw a bald eagle in my neighborhood yesterday. That is the first one I've seen in southern NH.
