Touch up paint

Hi all,

My rear bumper got a tiny little ding over the weekend. Only noticeable if I point it out. However, my OCD trait has it bothering me. It does not warrant a respray.

Where can I source A52 Space Gray Metallic?

Thanks!

I get all my touch up paint at drcolorchip.com. BMW's touch up paint is extremely hit or miss on the color matching.

I would leave it alone if it isn't noticeable as most touch up paints are not that good at matching the original (even BMW OEM touch up directly from the dealers).
I have tried so many Dr. Colorchips (from Audi, VW, BMW, Porsche, Lexus/Toyota,etc...) and haven't gotten anything that matched perfectly.

+1. Used drcolorchip to fill in rock chips and turned out great.

I got lucky with BMW paint (Misano Blue) when I had a case of front bumper rash and had to do a minor touchup and it matched perfectly.

I am glad you got it to match perfectly! I guess I am more picky and inspections were done with 3000 Luminen Scangrip. Most people probably won't notice until you point it out but for me the imperfections can't be unseen once I noticed.

I was lucky that the area I had to touch up was on the bottom portion of my front bumper so the light doesn’t reflect too strongly against it and show off any imperfections. In addition, I also recovered that area with PPF again after the repair was done. If it was on my hood or trunk, it would definitely be more visible.

It amazes me that BMW doesn't offer touchup paint for all of the colors it is currently selling.
