Just bought a new to me 2020 m50i. The door plates are kinda scratched up. How can i buff those out ? Or can i?

I had no luck with this on my M2 and had to buy new ones.

My recommendation is to get the metal part PPF'd as soon as you get them so you don't have to worry about it in the future. They come with a protective covering, but it's blue, unfortunately.

I left the blue covering on mine. It's not me I am worried about, but everyone else who ever gets in the car drags their feet.

When I had PPF put on my car the owner of the shop doing the work said he would be covering them without my having to ask.

He said it was better to be proactive than reactive!

I still have mine on for that reason

Those pieces are notorious for easy scratches.
