Detailing products and shelf life

I have a 32 oz container of Pinnacle Black Label Hide-Soft Leather Conditioner that I haven't yet used. I honestly don't even know how old it is at this point, but likely 3 to 6 years.

Would you use it?

Thanks!

I find chemicals start to separate after a few years. If it ever froze it's even more likely. Not worth the risk imo.

Agree. That has been my experience in my non-heated garage too.

I might take a few chances with something like tire dressings where the risk of something going wrong is very low. But for anything that touches the paint or interior surfaces I always want to be sure thing are properly mixed and not more than 1-2 years old.

Polishes and waxes and such go bad in a few years. Ceramic coatings has shelf lives measured in months to a year after opening so anything older is bad.

Leather conditioner I think should be fine unless its dried out. Give it a good shake, see if the consistency is ok and try it out.

Hey all, thanks for the tips. Given the only product I own that is really old is the leather conditioner, I just ditched it and purchased a fresh batch.

This is for the dash and doors mainly. I am using Colourlock for the seats.

Ceramic coatings have a shelf life and once you open the bottle, make sure you plan to use it.
In my experience, I have polishes and compounds around for 7-8 years and still use them. No issues. These are Menzerna products.
