Wheel brush recommendations
What do you guys use to clean the elaborate BMW wheels we’re cursed with?
Incredibrush? Speedmaster? |

nothing beats your finger and a rag. the brush type work great if its not heavy build up and relatively clean. dd/normal requires cloth/fiber cleaning. i really like this type

I use the Speedmaster on my wife’s MB E400 coupe.
I use the Wheel woolies on my 23 M340i because I worry that using the Speedmaster will mar the black wheels. I just have trouble getting between the caliper and the rim.

The problem with the bristle style ones is that when you pull them out of the wheels they splatter all over you. I use a combo of the flat Incredibrush and the lambskin wheel mit from OG

I’ve used the bristle type ones before and they eventually scratch the wheels. Wheel Woolies are a winner and this (below) is the answer to the calliper space problem https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BMXP9T...roduct_details |

I use this. Works great. It is bendable for getting to the insides of the rim.

An important question is what wheels / rims do you have? I have the 601s and use a very soft bristle wheel brush. I do have to roll to get to the barrel behind the caliper. It's unlikely you can clean the barrel completely behind the caliper with any brush. Very soft bristles don't create splatter when pulling the brush out.

343M's are easyish to clean using normal car shampoo with an old bath sponge on the front and sides then a long handled old dish wash up brush to the inner rim and caliper sides followed by a rinse then a drive round the block to clean up the discs. Spray on wheel cleaners and pressure washing will ruin your wheels quickly.
