For here, all of the dealers do it, so you can't go anywhere to get a vehicle unless you "submit" to the DAO.

Absolutely no way!!!!! Yes, it’s negotiable. And we have forum sponsors here who will sell a BMW extended warranty at a significant discount.

Edit: Broker I used is advertising M850i GC with 8% of MSRP for East Coast and Midwest. On top of that discount, there’s a $2K loyalty incentive or $3K lease cash
$10,000 for extended warranties = walk away from this dealer!

tturedraide is correct the forum sponsors that offer great deals for extended BMW warranties that can be used at any dealer. You don't have to purchase a warranty from the same dealer who sells you the car.

RigaTony1982 has had great success going the broker route and knows what he is talking about. You should really consider trying this approach.

Check out BMW of Mt Laurel. I bought my wife's X5 there and was happy with the purchasing experience. Test drove a 340 and M3 for myself from there as well and after discussing numbers/options/etc with the salesman, I walked away and got no real pressure (a good thing). Ended up purchasing a 440i from a different dealership, but I do all my servicing at BMW of Mt. Laurel and have had good experiences. They went above and beyond for my wife's X5 OFHG leak. I'll for sure be keeping my BMW business there. They also just redid the showroom which is a nice perk.

That rate is beyond ridiculous, you can send me a VIN and current milage and I'll be able to get you extended warranty coverage information from both of our providers Fidelity and Freedom Warranty, repairs accepted at all BMW dealers and licensed independents in the US/Canada.

I'd be happy to show how insane the pricing you received from the dealership is for warranty coverage.

In central jersey myself. Got my 2018 440i xdrive from BMW Morristown. If you need contact info of some ppl there, shoot me a PM and I'll connect you with my guy.

Got my new to me 2021 540i from BMW Habberstad/ BMW Bayshore long Island earlier this month. Went there because it was the only 540i with msport I could find for a decent price. I can send you the number of the guy I worked with there aswell.

I had a great experience with BMW of Bridgewater. My guy was Bill Chludzinski and if he is still there, you can't go wrong. Honest and straightforward and when I said I don't want to see the closer, he said go speak to him. There will be no upsell and if you don't like it, just get up and come back to me. Frankly he too was straightforward. I was going to pay cash for the car and he said, I have a deal for you that saved me a bunch of money.

Another recommendation for Adrian Avila, who's a Senior Advisor at BMW of Gwinnett Place in Duluth, Georgia (Suburban Atlanta). I just took delivery of my 2024 M440ix Gran Coupe a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful 645 mile drive back home to SW Arkansas. My journey to a Custom Order began early January with an email inquiry to Adrian that contained my BMW USA Build Specifications. He informed me they had no allocation, but would see if he could aquire one. End of January I was notified that an allocation had been aquired, and I was provided a Production Order Number w/mid March Build Date.

My entire experience from Production to Dealer Delivery and explanation of IDrive and Vehicle Functions was exceptional. I encountered no hidden surprises!

Want to add that I'm retired, so travel time wasn't a real factor.

The only thing I can think of is a lower "sale price" but at a finance rate they have a couple points put on for their bottom line to get it back... I wouldn't call it saving money however.

The car was 35k. The finance rate was 1% or something like that if it was paid as an automatic deduction from my bank account. I put the 35K in a 5% CD. I could have bought any one of a 35k of a market index fund as well.

No brainer. Problem is now, the finance rates are nowhere near 0%.
