Damn, that's a month from now. Hope they are still near the top in the Constructors by then.
Def rooting for RB!

With back-to-back race weekends, there are not many major updates from most teams for the Singapore Grand Prix but some of the teams have made some small updates to their cars for this race weekend including the VCARB who have come into the Singapore GP with a track specific updates to their front wing and it looked to work very well for them in the first couple of practice sessions. Are we going to see some surprise from them in Sunday's race?

RB struggling through FP1&2 - Checo finding some better pace again, typical for street circuits. Interesting to see.
Mclaren and Vcarb looking a bit faster than I expected. Ham still struggling to consistently outperform Rus. Nor still outperforming Pia. |

Exactly, Max. You're not 5 years old. You're a grown man. And 5-year olds look up to you.

I'm smelling a LEC Pole. Or possibly a NOR Pole that he'll lose to LEC on Lap 1. Either way, cheers, Killed by Death .

Right now RBR can afford to lose 13 points in the WDC as Baku they only lost 3 points. (assuming lando takes 8 points every race)
So if they lose less than 13 points this weekend, it will be a win for RBR. If Max DNF, it would be worst case scenario. |

They could but that iteration is probably slower. The fact is, Red Bull has been out-developed by Ferrari and McLaren and now going through the growing pains the rest of the grid felt the last two years.

If you are far ahead, you're supposed to continue developing regardless of how much far ahead you are, but RBR has gotten complacent. Even their strategy and pit crew got lazy, it's like nobody has drive anymore like back in 2021/2022. If COTA doesn't work, they are losing the WDC, but I hope Leclerc takes it because lando definitely does not deserve it. 2 race wins, barely any poles. Can you imagine how undeserving that would be? |

But I think the problems at RB are much bigger. They look like the problems MERC had 1,5 years ago: imbalance, not able to get the car in the 'right window' and having no clue why. So upgrades are also shots in the dark. And McLaren will probably still get faster in the last part of the year. The way things are going now, and with 3 sprintraces to go next to the normal races, I think the chance that Max gets the WDC is very slim. I even see him finish 3rd or even 4th, as I expect him to also need another engine (at least one) this year. 7 races and 3 sprint races still to go. Not that 2nd, 3rd or 4th really matters, you either win WDC or you don't. Lets hope RB doesn't need 1,5 years to solve their imbalance problems like merc needed. (merc's performance still is somewhat hit or miss)

But what about Fred Vasseur and Toto Wolff using the F-word during FIA press interviews ? F1 as Kindergarten ? Nov 16, 2023 - Las Vegas Grand Prix - FIA press interviews. Heated exchange between Vasseur and Wolff. Vasseur was obviously upset about Ferrari being forced to fit a new engine and chassis to Sainz's car, resulting in a 10-place grid penalty, as a result of Sainz's car hitting a drain cover that came loose on the street circuit:
