I hate black wheels and blue cars needs to be paired with silver wheels so the choice is Grey 951. 952 is just a weird design to me.

Definitely 951 but in silver black. I saw one with black and it takes away from the marina blue color.

I hate anything silver or chrome on cars, so jet black as the only option for me

For me, it’s def the 952s. Enough silver to provide contrast with a bit of black to give it depth.

^^^^
This.
Black wheels look nice on either black car or bright clolors specially white.
Blue will be shiny on silver wheels.
My vote on 951

The 952 looks much much different in person. Its depth doesn’t come through in pics. They look much better in real life.

That being said… I went with black

The side does not accurately show what the 952s look like. But here are a few angles I took.

Those 952 will be a beast to clean. Would definitely need CCBs with those. Hopefully the LCI will come with better wheel choices. The car in the video looks good though.

Would have been nice if they would have kept the M5 fender vents and put the charging port somewhere else.

I predict a significant amount of G90/G99 owners will just run black or go aftermarket.

Sorry for slight thread jack, but 95% of BMW rims for the past 10-15 years have been fugly and weird… I concur with the sentiment above that many give off an “EV Vibe.” That’s fine on all the other weird cars BMW makes, but the M cars should be different.

On my F10 Comp, I got the beautiful 601s but they were cast.

On my F90 I got the 706s but wanted the 789s that later came out.

On the G90, the options aren’t great.

I think BMW owners, especially M car owners want bespoke design, but also want wheels that invoke classic styles of the Marque — BBS style , Alpina style, HRE style wheels all look best on BMWs, IMHO. - Not these black/grey bicolor, geometric complicated barrels of BS.

Does BMW or the M design studio realize or even acknowledge this?

For me, my G99 will have the grey bicolor 951s at delivery, since they always can be taken to black if I want; Ill probably use them for winters. But will have custom rims soon enough. Another large chunk of change to make the car look right when it didnt need to be if BMW would design modern interpretations on classic designs.
