Otherwise I would like to see him do an old 190 era Mercedes. I really hope he doesn't turn into a Porsche snob.
Good call. I'd be down for this too!

great episode. I really appreciate the way Sreten builds his cars as of late; great balance of aftermarket and OEM.

His driving has gotten smoother. I think he should start looking into safety items. The ring can be dangerous. I've spun a few times there in my e30's on different corners most of the times weather related and tire related. Never hit a track barriers as that stuff was expensive but I had a control arm rip out and had to get towed home to Bitburg by ADAC which is AAA in Germany.

I think he mentioned getting a cage installed at the end of his last vid.

Not any more, no. His 530i E39 was auto, if I remember right.

Edit: The Alpina B10 is auto still, and he's thinking of putting a ZF8 auto in it.

I really do like watching his channel, especially on the e46Touring conversions. I am trying to learn through him since I cannot find someone local to help me with an e46 s54 Touring swap touring that I bought. The locals shops in my area are not interested in helping me due to the swap not being a factory swap or perhaps because it not CA emission compliant. Ironic, since I am looking for assistance in getting CA Emissions compliant. Several shops did acknowledge that used to work on e46's but they have move-on and no longer service e46 due to it being a "legacy series."

I’ve just finished the Project Rottweil series, I can only wish to have the time, tools and patience to restore a car like this.

I’m taking notes on the m54 engine preventative maintenance and what small bits I can apply to X5 e53.

Keep it up Sreten, I’m sure you channel and audience will grow.

I wondered why it didn't show up in my feed, it's a new channel apparently, "M539 Plus". FYI for anyone else if you subscribe to the restorations channel and didn't see this either.

Why the 2nd channel, I wonder?

Edit: So he can post quick and dirty edits without clogging up the main channel...cool!

That was quick! My 8 year old daughter will be so happy. We watch these and talk about how things work, and she wanted him to get the engine running. Guess she'll have to wait even a little longer.

What does it take a 230 HP BMW E39 530i to 430 HP? Well, find out in this episode! I took a 1600€ BMW that I found at the back of the used car lot, completely rejuvenated it, and made it into an ultimate OEM+ sleeper!
