A few years ago, I was playing in FL. Hit my ball into the rough. Found it, hit it, and saw a snake coiled up next to the cart where I had just jumped out. I ran to the other side and drove off. Later on, I looked back to figure out what kind of snake it was. Best I can figure, it was a freaking copperhead! That would have ended my trip in a bad way!

Another FL adventure hole:
Pulled a shot into the water - next to a gator.
Dropped and pulled another shot into a green side bunker - on a red ant nest.
Needless to say, I didn’t score well on that hole.

But they need to post a warning if you are not physically fit you might have problems. Being 70 with several fake joints it is exhausting to play there even with a cart. Many of the traveling group I play with won't play it because of the steep hills to and from the greens.

In fact that was the course that caused me to get fake knees. I was playing it with my BIL and realized I could walk UP hills but any steep downhill was a no bueno.

But for the fit a great choice and great price/quality choice.

I know exactly what you mean. Sone of the grades are so steep I almost wish I wore spiked shoes.

Played Pebble, Spyglass, Spanish and Del Monte in 2023. I think Spanish was being revamped in 24.

$Stayed on the resort for the 4 days $$$$$. If I make my way there again, I would stay at the resort for Pebble and Spanish Bay, then stay and play elsewhere.

Just put a deposit on a 2-bedroom apartment in the Optima Kierland complex in Scottsdale, and one of the perks is a discount at our neighbor the Westin Kierland Golf Club. Looking forward to spending a lot of time on their courses! Great golf simulator in my new building too. Very excited!

Don’t know. I was apartment hunting this Sunday and didn’t play golf this weekend. Took that photo off the web while researching the venue. Can’t wait to find out though!
