G90 vs F90 vs F10

Fun day out and still in love with my F90, which I've daily driven for nearly 4 years now.

It is obvious that the F90 was a huge improvement in performance over the F10.

It is also obvious that the delta in performance between the F90 and the G90 is non-existant, and therein lies the quandry.

After 6 M5’s dating back to my first M5 which was an E39, I will not be migrating to the G90, at least not this iteration. I will happily stay in my current 22’ M5C as there is nothing compelling me to make the move.

For those that will undoubtedly question my comments … yes, I can afford a G90 and yes, I have extensively driven it as my brother owns one.

And yes, this is just my opinion and not an indictment on this car. I’m sure many value the PHEV and new styling etc and I respect that.

A G90 with performance that is measurably better than it’s predecessor could tilt my mind in another direction. Unfortunately, this is not that car.
