Not on any of the M5s I've seen. Nothing in the training material either. M Drive Professional adds the lap time and 2 driving modes (dynamic and dynamic plus). No 10 stage traction control.

There is an issue somewhere it's listed on BMWs NA builder site but the language isn't correct either haha

Understood. Wouldn't be the first time the builder is incorrect. No drift analyzer on the iDrive either. So if the 10 stage traction control is on the vehicle, it is hidden extremely well.

I looked at the press material nothing mentioned.

I wonder if this is a hold out for the Comp or cs. It's just a line of coding.

Looking isnt an option listed on the M2 either

The car may know it's mileage count. I recall on the XM it told me to drive more gas miles and had a specific mileage counter until 800 miles. Had a icon on the dash for it.

At this point it's all software .

We need folks in other countries who paid for the package to confirm both pre and post breakin service.

Folks what's your mileage, country and did you spec the option? Have you had your break in service?

Can you confirm no 10 stage or drift analyzer via settings?

I'm only at 340 miles. It wasn't ordered by me, just a dealer allocation to Colorado Denver BMW Dealer

Still more of an M car than any other M lites (and arguably XM)... People need to cut the crap and drive one back to back with a 5 or i5 of the same generation, it's clearly had the full M treatment for the chassis, cooling and other stuff. Could it be sportier, lighter and more raw ? of course ... but you can't compare it with older gen, newer cars always get more numb somehow.

Interesting you start in 2nd gear on the video when you took the turn from the stop. So after break in service we can expect the car to be totally TC free when in RWD and DSC off then.

In m5 it feels like a problem with a car, because you know, when something like TC or dsc is still on, it never gives you to spin, but in my case on a slippery road it drifts
On dry road, it feels like an issue with a transmission or something else, because yesterday it even had a kick in transmission when I tried to slide a car. It really feels like a fail safe or something else that tries to limit torque

I hope it’s software issue, because I’ve got one of the first producted car (in November) and maybe it’s not up to dated to the newest software version
