EVERY SINGLE TIME the ad says "2 for X" or "3 for Y", you can still buy a single unit, at the 'discount' price.
You NEVER have to buy more than 1. Is $2.50 for that package a good deal? I haven't bought hot dogs in years. |

You guys have to understand this tactic is clearly aimed at the type of shopper who considers buying any and all things as long as they are labeled, "50% OFF!"
The other ploy is Costco's art of mixing and arranging their sales floor in a way that you'd think you have come across the greatest bargain on earth. It has no logic into the way mixing and arrangement of merchandise is done ("Breast chickens for only $3.99 a lbs., honey! ....WAIT...Look!!!! Michelin tires are on sale - 4 for $300 any size!). They have made it into an art form. Just observe next time you visit one. |

Ha, stupid people. Everyone knows to wait for Sunday when they're 3 for $9.
If she gets "dressed up" for Wal Mart, how does she dress for the dollar store? |

Right next to the Sale thing the original price tag says $2.44 each, which is less than $2.50 last time I checked.
