Hello guys !
My recent purchase is a lovely 08 alpine white 335i sedan. I only had it for a couple of weeks and I love it !!!
I'd like to find an iphone charger that will fit in the center compartment so I'll still be able to close the lid with the phone in there. it seems that the 12V hole just isn't located deep enough. or am I wrong ?
does anyone uses an iphone charger in his E9x ?

also - I'd like to add HD radio. is it possible to install HD radio as a dealer installed option ?

Do you have iDrive? if so you can get the 6FL iPod adapter option installed at the dealer... you're phone gets charged in the center compartment while your songs show up on the nav screen, it's pretty awesome.

if not a regular car charger should fit in their no problemo.

I do have iDrive and I already have the iPod interface but I use it for my 60GB iPod. I want to charge the iPhone as well. It just seems that the 12V plug will not allow for the lid to be closed. you are saying it will. I guess I'll just buy one and give it a try...

I use a standard 12 volt adpater with a USB output connection and the iphone standard USB cable. Works fine. I have a 08 335i Sedan. The IPOD connector will not work on the IPhone. The Iphone connection is different than that of the IPOD.

I have an 08 335i coupe and the iPod connection has worked beautifully with my iPhone since day 1. In fact, I can scroll/select songs faster when the iPhone is connected than my normal iPod (i think this is because of the use of flash as opposed to a harddrive).

If your iPhone isn't working, I suggest you go get it replaced or have BMW check out your connector.

My iPhone 3G works fine in my 08 328xi with the iPod connector.
