The fighting and chases were pretty cool. Was crazy how he got back to the car after that dude took it and try to run away lol.

Movie was overrated like theres no tomorrow lol. Plunging your car into a lake, getting it out with the air from your tires and then starting it right back up.. haha!

yeah - i think the 1st was definitely the best of the three. The only really over-the-top driving was at the beginning when he jumps off the overpass and onto the transport truck below.

The 2nd film was much better in terms of characters - didn't feel like a foreign film. But the driving was so ridiculous. Come'n... a barrel roll?

I think the 3rd had the character development of the 1st, and the theatrics of the 2nd. Worst parts of both films. With that said... I'm sure I'll buy it once it comes to dvd.

Actually, that whole bit was contrived. People were wondering why he kept ignoring the advances of the wife and the skanky/junkie-looking bad girl in the last movie, and the director said he "directed the character of Frank as gay." Jason Staham and Luc Besson hit the roof, saying Frank Martin oviously wasn't gay, he slept with the Chinese chick in the first film - he sent the wife home because she was married, and the other chick was a psycho (and gross, imo).

Anyway, in this film they ramped up the romance and had Frank emphatically deny being gay to sort of retract what was said about the last film.

That's part of why the film i so bad (I saw it Sunday). There's not much of a story to it - it's mostly an excuse to show off the Audi A8 (or S8), Jason Staham's torso, and recycle some fight choreography (the fight with the big guy was pretty similar to the one T1).
