Asshat G35 going 250 km / h

In Toronto, G35 drivers want to race everything.... Here is a little poetic justice

In Ontario, it is only street racing if there is another car involved. In this case this guy was just maxing out his "G" just because.

And a $2000 to $10,000 fine...... I wonder how long it took the "G" to get to 250 km/h. He probably started at Canada's Wonderland (he got caught at Finch st.)....just a little geographic humor for my fellow Torontians

No necessarily so!

In Ontario, any speeding of 50km/h over the speed limit may result in a "street racing" or "stunt driving" charge (and whatever other creative charge they can come up with), a maximum fine of $10000, having your car impounded for a week, and having your license immediately suspended also for a week. And all of this is followed up with a court appearance to further decide your fate.

It's a blanket law to take care of anything that remotely looks like street racing.

Controversially, this law has also resulted in garbage truck drivers, seniors, and fellow police officers having their licenses suspended and their vehicles impounded.

They are actually different sections of the code that almost cover the same offense. Stunting covers wheelies, unilateral displays of speed, cutting people off, this is the general catch bucket to the more specific offence of street racing.

Part of the reason I lost respect for the G35 Coupe or G35x for that matter are the people who drive them... or what the people that DON'T drive them think of them.

"Yo that G is TIEEEEETEEEE yo, man what-chu got unda da hoood SON?! You that shit is FASTTTT yo. I'ma get me a G soon son and race erry damn body, no wun will tuch me son!"

You get what I mean. Or should I say, nawwwww sayin?

Not to trivialize the offense, but there are plenty of posts about M3 drivers topping out the car at 161mph (258kph). And they did NOT specify doing so on the Autobahn.
I can think of worse road behavior than going triple digit when the road is clear.

Garage List
There's a G coupe in my neighborhood with the license plate (I'm paraphrasing) I8URV8. I always get a good chuckle when I see it.
