Good Business school?

UVA, UMD, or Georgetown. Close to home and excellent business schools.

UVA in itself is considered the top public school period in the country and usually trades 1st & 2nd place with UC Berkley.

Wow a lot must have changed since I went to Michigan a decade and a half ago.... It was always UCB #1 with UCLA and UofM swapping all the time for #2.

I didn't say I didn't believe you. I remember UVA being right up there too. Not sure who was ranking them back then though.

Yeah those rankings are good and all, but I've always wondered if the point was completely moot. For instance when I went to Michigan, we had some of the top programs in Engineering and Business, but at the same time, our math department was lauded as being one of the worst amongst major institutions in the entire country.

I just remember about the rankings because my brother was at UC Berkeley the same time I was at UofM and I never heard the end of it. Then he went to UCLA Law and I still didn't hear the end of it....

It's all about finding a place with a good program for you academically. Another thing to consider is the social aspect of "going to college." And, I must say, UVA's campus is pretty nice....
