Someone help me with this POS iTunes!!!

so i got my 3gs today and im trying to put music can movies on to the phone but there is not 1 way i can find to do this. i have the latest version of itunes so if anyone can help me that would be awesome!

are you trying to manually copy the music/movies?

in that case you have to plug in your iphone, click on it under Devices, then go to the General tab and check

[v] Manually manage music and videos.
