Weird high waist fashion trend
I find this very weird, but it is kind of growing on me. Not that I would wear anything like this though.

This was the way women wore their pants when I was a kid.

The newest thing. Now fat people can look slim too. The '70's are back.
Give me slim women in lowrise any day. The fat chicks can stay indoors.

But those jeans in the photos above remind me of the polyester pants my school teachers used to wear back in the early 80's (blah).

just because celebrities do something doesn't make it right, or fashionable.
Look at the whole untucked dress shirt phase.... lots of people walked around looking like complete jack-a**' because they thought it was "cool". The mom jeans need to die off before they catch on.

Funny how fashion trends go full circle. If these make a comeback, my mum will be the trendiest woman in her town.

Low rise jeans were worn about a year longer than they should have.
High waist might work for a bit, especially as I'm sure it'll help the "fatter" girls cover up that little belly. I for one won't complain, rather have that stuff tucked into a pair of jeans than falling out of their shirts. |
