Lightbulb Nissan Altima With Intelligent Key

The redesigned Nissan Altima comes standard with the equivalent of BMW's Comfort Access. I wonder when BMW will make it standard.

Doesn't the Camry too? I think a lot of new cars have this technology available, but I guess not necessarily standard.

Too bad the redesign of the car itself doesnt match up. Thats one car I cant stand, they are everywhere and by the looks of it, they should have concentrated on that, rather than this feature.

Are they already around in Florida? I don't think I've seen a single new model here in Toronto yet. I have however seen 1 of the new G35 last month on the road but yet to see an Altima.

But they're popular because they have a good engine, are relatively cheap and a huge interior.

Its standard on Acura RLs and Audi A8s too. The VW touareg has a half-done version of it where you can go keyless to get in the car, without pressing buttons or anything, but you have to pull the key out and stick it in the ignition to start the car.

But dont feel bad 3ers, I was bored bmwusa.com yesterday and realized taht CA is a $500 option on 3ers, and a $1000 option on 5ers. Thats really effed up on the part of BMW

Mercedes does the opposite here in Canada, navigation on a C-Class is around $3800 while navi on an S-Class is about a thousand.

Advance Key is an option on the A8, part of a package in North America.

I believe most of them are bundled into packages for the Japanese cars. They are available but not standard. The Prius has it as an option

Nissan/Infiniti has always played the value card, it's part of what makes their cars so appealing; but they've *had to* because they don't have the brand cachet of the brands they intend to compete against.

Hell, metallic paint isn't even standard on BMWs.

No, not the Camry...maybe the XLE (top of the line), but I just rented the 2007 LE version and it had the old looking key...

I was meaning to say they are available options in their packages, not necessarily standard. This obviously applies to many different brands, including BMW.

They are still not really a listed option on the 328s unless you do special order. I would've picked that option as well if I know I can actually special order it.

Ahh, so it's the Sentra that has it standard. I always thought the Versa has it but when I checked on their website, it's not listed.
