Problems with my insurance
about a year ago i jumped the curb and had significant suspension damage. a month ago i went to the dealer for brake fluid change and they said some elements of the suspension were still damaged. they also found yellow paint on the damaged parts which would have been from the fire hydrant i hit. this confirmed that it was from the previous accident and not new damage. the car had been driving perfect all this time so there was no way to notice. i took the car back to the shop that did the original repairs. they confirmed the damage and called the insurance company to supplement my original claim. the adjuster came, looked at the damage, and claimed it was new. i should also mention that i changed companies a month before the damage was discovered. is there anything i can do or am i screwed?

I would be pissed at your dealer for not fixing it right the first time. Regardless new or old claim, if the adjuster wants to submit a new claim tell him to go ahead.
